I was reaching into the dishwasher today to take out one of the cookie sheets that I’m using to feed the birds – and ended up with my thumb impaled on a fork. One of the tines went right under the nail.
It’s times like these when Reiki comes in handy (or thumb-y, as the case may be). My planned next step was to read the morning’s emails – so I did that while wrapping my entire left hand around my right thumb. The first goal was to stop the bleeding, which took about three minutes.
Then I just continued to pour healing into that area until the energy turned off all by itself. Maybe 7 or 8 more minutes. Three or four hours later, I’m easily able to type this with no discomfort. And will probably fill the thumb full of energy again next time I’m sitting down to read.
I find Reiki easily able to stop the bleeding, eliminate or reduce the pain and swelling, and prevent infection. Plus healing time ranges from a few hours to a few days, depending on the injury.
A lot easier than getting out antibiotics or more healthy remedies, going to the doctor, using ice and bandaids, and being uncomfortable for several days. Hurray for Reiki!
