A Barack Calendar

January 4, 2009 By admin

A friend of mine had a friend selling a wonderful Barack calendar. It’s called Born 2 Lead, created by born2leadwear.com. I am really looking forward to going through each month – wonderful pictures, wonderful quotes, a great spirit and feeling about it.

February is a great picture of Barack and Michelle, a private moment. From Barack about Michelle, from the Tavis Smiley show in 2006: ‘When I go home, she wants me to be a good father and a good husband, and everything else is secondary to that.’

My birthday month, May, is a candid shot of Barack in profile just looking out a window. We don’t see the window, we only see the observing and pensive and considering look on Barack’s face. What beautiful bones the man has. There will be no getting older for him – just getting better.

August features wonderful pictures of children and a quote from a podcast just about this time in 2007 – ‘It’s not enough to change the players. We’ve gotta change the game.’

And in September there’s a quote I haven’t heard before: “American’s…still believe in an America where anything’s possible…they just don’t think their leaders do.’

Gonna be a yummy year with this calendar.

p. s. Actually, my spidey sense says it’s gonna be a slowly improving year, but still with lots of shocks and bumps in it. 2010 has a shot at being yummy.
