A Fox on the Patio!

November 23, 2009 By admin

Saturday morning – up early, putting out feed for the birds, squirrels and assorted critters who visit the patio, yard, and various feeders. And then – looking out my office window – there’s a fox eating the bird seed!

Not eating the peanuts which are out there for the blue jays and the squirrels – just the bird seed. Standing up and eating, laying down and eating. Pausing with his / her head cocked, then tearing off after a squirrel. Coming back to continue eating.

Wearing a winter coat, looking more like a strawberry blond than a redhead. Still with that elegant and delicate look, those slender long black legs.

Welcome, Citizen Fox. I hope you stick around!
