We had another wonderful Sunday at Grailville on the 21st. I arrived early with my friend and hero Gwynne – we drove together to have time to talk the talk, and just hang out. We helped set up and then had time to connect with others before the event began. Another one of my heroes, Zeynep, has shepherded the group, and so got us started on our busy agenda.
We broke into small groups to talk about what advice we would give to Reiki Master Teachers just starting out. Our group said – Be confident, trust the process, trust what you’ve learned, Reiki does no harm, and you cannot make a mistake. Your intention means the Attunement will happen. So become part of the process, and don’t worry. Lots of other good advice was passed around, which will end up on the cincinnatireiki.ning.com website.
Tony then taught us all how to do Rei-Ju (Universal Gift), an interesting energy technique. I liked it because it flowed so naturally from my hands. We had a great Grailville lunch, and then Reiki Shares, followed by Reiki drumming.
Our next gathering will probably be at the autumn equinox – and we’re going to open up to the entire Reiki community. The Masters will meet in the morning, First and Second Degrees will arrive for lunch, and we’ll spend the afternoon working together. Aaahhh. What a great experience that will be.
In the meantime, we’ll be having another Introduction to Reiki at the Victory of Light Festival at the Sharonville Convention Center, April 10 and 11, 10 a m to 7 p m both days. Our Intro to Reiki – where we’ll both talk about and do Reiki on / for the attendees, so everyone can have the experience, will be at 4 p m on Saturday.
