Hadn’t seen Coyote in quite a while – maybe two months. But the friend of mine who keeps my house sparkly bravely took him on last week. Here’s what she wrote (we always write each other notes):
“I saw Coyote – “the trickster” in the garden today. He thought he might lure the kitties into the briar patch. George (the pillow cat) may believe himself to be the heavyweight champion…however, he’s quite frankly no match for the wily coyote. We stood our ground, informing the fool he was trespassing on the sacred home of a fiery, most powerful, red headed goddess. So if he had intended on any mischievous nonsense, he had better think twice – or the joke would surely be on him.
He then went on his way as if he hadn’t come to begin with- and may return another day. We all had a good scare and a good chuckle!!!”
I can just picture Mama Bear Jennifer standing up to coyote. And isn’t it just like The Trickster to pretend the whole thing never happened? I am glad someone besides me has finally seen him.
