Knowing this was going to be a snow day, I brought home all the material to write the CDC Association end-of-year newsletter. And I have another project I’ve promised to complete, plus my own holiday / winter classes newsletter.
So what did I do with this beautiful day? I wrapped all the presents that need to be mailed out of town. Had already mailed one box, to a friend in Massachusetts – so now I’m going to go open the box I got from here. That’s my rule.
I also wrapped and put loaves of fresh baked bread (baked 6 loaves this morning) in packages to my oldest son, his wife and my oldest grandson, who live in DC. And just finished the box for my sister Kath and her husband in Cape Coral.
And I made 6 more loaves of bread – they’re rising in the fridge, and will be baked in the morning. Then I invited my neighbors across the drive to come over and get their loaf of bread. We had a very nice visit.
A very good day!
