The Back Yard in Winter! (aros #2)

January 8, 2011 By admin

So many animal folk having a good time in the back yard. The flicker has been almost permanently attached to the sunflower seed feeder, the finches are back eating again – they just seem to disappear in the snowy weather. A battalion of sparrows today, way more than unusual. And the bright, bright spots of blue jays and cardinals in abundance. Plus the chubby squirrels.

The 8- or 10-point buck was standing off in the woods just watching, while the mourning doves were doing their usual meander. A busy and peaceful scene, just for me!
