The most common question I hear from people who are just starting to be aware of their intuition / Intuitive Selves is: Am I making this up?
So instead of paying attention to the information they are receiving, they go into hypercritical mode and argue with themSelves. That behavior doesn’t work, over time will reduce intuitive abilities, and will not lead in a positive direction.
Instead, when you have a thought that isn’t yours in your head, take one step towards it. You don’t have to move to a cave in Tibet, or take the veil, or do anything drastic. Just take a step. for instance, check out Wiki or Google on the topic. Buy a book about it. Go to a fabric or hobby store and look for whatever it is. See what happens when you take that step. Does everything fall into place, or do doors slam?
One way to check whether the idea is from your intuition or not is to ask – is this about love or fear? Does this thought increase my energy or reduce it? How is my body feeling? Ready to go or ready for a nap?
If you just don’t have the strength to go ahead with it – then the idea is from your questioning and doubtful mind. If you’ve got 14 new ideas and are rarin’ to go – then it’s your intuition.
And you didn’t have to do anything but just take one little step. Now that you know it’s your intuition, don’t forget to say Thanks to your Intuitive Self / God / Goddess / All That Is. Saying thanks will lead to the message being clearer, simpler, louder next time. Go for it!
