The garden is nearly in, only a few beautiful orange impatiens remain to be planted. Great contentment, preparing for the routine of moving the sprinkler from area to area, watering the beds, trimming a bit there, weeding a bit there.
Suddenly I look out the back door – there is a bunny who has already destroyed much of the lettuce crop! I open the door. The bunny looks at me. I step out the door. The bunny looks at me. I go down the steps and toward the garden – perhaps 12 feet – while yelling at the bunny. S/he finally decides that moving out of the lettuces might be a good idea, and, with a leisurely hop, bunny shuffles away.

I’ve written this the way we write down dreams – in the present tense, as if it is happening right now, before our very eyes. It well and truly happened on Sunday during Reiki Healing Circle, but certainly felt dreamlike, since Bunny was acting in a very un-scared un-bunny way.
And now I shall have to go back to my three garden stores, in search of veggies to fill in the blanks. Which is always fun, so all is well.
