Wow! Today was another terrific Reiki Day. The morning and then an excellent Grailville lunch was just for Reiki Master Teachers. First and Second Degree Reiki practitioners were welcomed for the afternoon.
Here’s a sampling of the agenda: after self-introductions, one of the Master Teachers led a discussion of each of the Reiki symbols, which was followed by our learning how to chant / meditate on the symbol. Both deep and mind blowing experiences were reported by many participants. At another point in the morning, we learned Hands-Off Reiki. The descriptions we shared with each other were transcendent.
Lunch helped ground us, and several of us walked the Tree of Life Labyrinth, with the tulip poplars waving and welcoming as we passed by. A high point of the afternoon was talking about the many volunteer experiences now available for Reiki folk. Many institutions are now wide open to our energy healing work, especially hospices. The weather was superb, so we did our Reiki Share healing work outside.
We also had lots of snacks through the morning and afternoon – energy work makes some of us really hungry! We closed with Reiju and Reiki drumming. Reiki is amazing for its ability to relax and energize us all at the same time. Aaaaaahhhhhhh.
