Wow! A couple of weeks ago, Reiki was on the front page of The Enquirer. The above-the-mast coupon deal for that day offered half-off a Reiki session. Then a few days later, I was at a birthday party, where someone had a shoulder ailment – almost everyone there had heard of Reiki (and this was a political women’s gathering, by and large!), and were interested to watch me work. I’m going to do a session for the birthday girl in a few days.
Last week, at a luncheon, a banker friend had a headache. So after I finished eating (I was hungry!), I did distance healing on her headache. When I felt it go away, I stopped and asked her how she was feeling. She grinned and said she had just realized she was feeling a lot better, and was going to ask me what I was doing. Then the person sitting beside her pointed out that over the past year, I had worked on everyone in her office but her, and why had I left her out? So I gave her a short immune system session.
This would not have happened 20 or 10 or 5 or even 3 years ago. People are suddenly now much more open, much more comfortable with the idea that we can heal each other, that hands on healing is real, that there is more in the Universe than we have acknowledged.
Soon we’ll know we’re not victims, that life is not about suffering but Joy, that the Paradigm is well and truly shifting! Hooray! Makes me feel better just thinking about it! Aaaaahhhhh.
