The Goddess Guidance deck sits on my big glass coffee table.? I pull a card every now and then, to know the theme of the day or week.? A couple of days ago, after a client left, I pulled one and then another followed it out of the deck.
So I ended up with Sekhmet and Damara.? Sekhmet is the Egyptian lion goddess, and the subtitle is Be Strong.? Damara’s subtitle is Guiding Children – she’s a Celtic fertility goddess, who is gentle and fierce simultaneously.
I have three sons and three grandsons, so the cards could be pertaining to that.? Or the message could be referring to the children’s Tarot deck my friend Shaheen and I are working on (for 7 to 13 year olds), or to the very young children’s book that my friend Judy and her helpers are urging me to write.
And of course, in the layered way of Divination and Tarot cards – it could be referring to all of them at once.? And, suddenly, I’m getting to spend more time with my red-headed grandson (whose head is currently shaved 😕 >? ).? So that’s a blessing.
I’m staying awake on the strong, fierce and gentle parts of the message.? Though those three qualities are what I bring to many relationships.
