It was time for new contacts and glasses – I was down to my last two contacts on the prescription my old optometrist had given me quite a while ago. Maybe 5 years ago, when he went to work for the Veteran’s Administration.
I knew I wanted to continue with the one-eye-seeing-close and the other eye-seeing-far prescription, that the old optometrist had told me I had taken about as far as it would go. Which was not news I wanted to hear.
I had been waiting for the Universe to point me in the right direction for months. Nothing had happened – no comments from friends, ads popping off the page at me, no mail or email about contacts (except since I made my choice, I’ve seen several!) So I googled contact lenses cincinnati and looked for the closest one. Then I called them and asked about one close and one far contacts. They were delighted to tell me the doctor prescribed them all the time, and wore them himself!
So let me recommend Dr. William J. Guappone, O.D., Hyde Park Optometrists. I also bought a pair of wonderful green glasses, to wear in the morning and at night for a few minutes. They are so cute!
The best part is the contacts – they are safigel.com 1 day contacts. When I first put them in – it was like nothing on my eye. I’ve always had an easy time wearing contacts, so I’m not bothered by them. But I was still astonished at how my eye felt like there was nothing there. And no need for the soaking solution and the rinsing solution and the eye-wetting drops. None of those chemicals required. Wow!
Check them out. You’ll be as astonished as I was. Even in this dry winter weather, no problem. Obviously, the Universe was taking great care of me, as always.
