Even on our best days, we likely have said, thought and done negative things. Like putting ourselves down. Like saying ‘I don’t make enough money and I guess I never will’. Or ‘Well, we all get sick as we grow older.’
The problem is, of course, that thoughts become things – and we are creating our own futures with those statements. Futures we do not really want.
So what to do? We know it’s important to love ourselves, to affirm the positive, not to call in negative energy. So getting mad at ourselves, beating ourselves up because we goofed does not work, either!
Here’s an evening idea. As you’re getting ready to head for bed – you can literally shake this stuff off! Just as though you were dancing – twist off the negative vibes. Or, standing in your bedroom, picture a shower of pink energy / water washing off and carrying away all the stuff you regret from the day, or would prefer not to have said and thought. Takes two to five seconds – trust me, you have time!
Just let it go. Be finished. If your mind turns back to it later on or the next day – well, it’s your mind. Just push those thoughts away and pick happier ones to put in their place!
Yes – it really is that simple! And that much fun….
