A friend of mine has a wellness / yoga / skincare studio just up the street and around the corner from my house. We had talked about my doing a workshop there for her friends and clients – and so, finally, last Saturday, we did! This was a small class, but superfun!
I had never taught a class just on pendulums before – and Annie had done a terrific flyer for it, which stressed what I stress: the best way to learn about pendulums – and the best way to work with them – is by keeping it light and fun.
I brought a lot of my pendulums – and in my house, almost anything can become a pendulum. (Last week, at a meeting, a friend was fussed about her brother. So I asked her purse with a long strap if it wanted to be a pendulum – it said yes – and then gave a very positive answer about her brother.)
Everyone had brought at least one pendulum of their own – one of the attendees makes jewelry, and had several beautiful ones. We learned how to read the swings of the pendulum, how to ask simple questions, and then more complex ones.
And then we diagnosed and healed out of balance chakras for everyone, using our pendulums. It was great to watch participants build their confidence, relax and allow their intuition to begin to take over. And they were very good with those chakras. Interestingly, when I laid down to give the class a chance to diagnose me, my crown chakra was open, big and happy. But all the rest very more like vertical slits. I suspect Spirit arranged all that, because my energy felt nice and buzzy.
After the class got over that weird shape – with everyone’s pendulums indicating that slit / long oval shape – they realized one of their number was able to make the adjustment, re-calibrate the chakras, and get everything back in alightment. So it took a while, with me just laying on the floor enjoying listening to them busily learning.
Great Fun!
