The Green Is Starting to Creep Up!

March 29, 2014 By pgarry

In my yard, looking out through my big front window, I cannot see the rest of the world most of the year. Right now, I can see the world and even a bit of the Ohio River. But the green – the grass, ivy and other vines are greening up down on the ground.

Next will come the leaves on the bushes, starting with the lowest up to the highest – and really by the time that is done – by the end of April, the world will largely have disappeared. When the trees leaf out – late April through May – the world will be all gone again until November.

So I’m cheering right now, as the green is beginning to creep up once again.
