The Afterlife of Billy Fingers – How My Bad-Boy Brother Proved to Me That There’s Life After Death is written by Annie Kagan, with a Foreword by Dr. Raymond Moody. James Van Praagh says on the cover that “Billy is your perfect guide.”
This is a true story says his sister. I was very skeptical – not of the story itself, because I talk to dead people, so I know there’s life after death. But mostly these are very badly written books – bad descriptions, sloppy language, fairly whiny.
This one is not perfect, but is much better than the average book. Not much repetition or preaching, a fair amount of humor on Billy’s part. His sister is still pretty whiny, resisting what she knows perfectly well, being doubtful and scared at being asked to co-write a book with a dead guy. He should have taught her to turn off all that fear – it’s just not useful.
All in all, though, this is a good book, worthy of interest. Just don’t expect your journey when you leave the planet to look like this one. There will be similarities, but lots of changes and other potential pathways. Just go with Joy, and you’ll have a lot of fun! xoxox
