It is nice to have it be after April 15, isn’t it? I have my taxes all paid, forms all submitted. So I don’t have to think about that for another year. And since my birthday is near, I just paid online my car license plates renewal fee.
And of course paying bills on line is lots quicker and easier than the old paper checks, stamps, envelopes, hand balancing the checkbook every month routine – once you have it all set up, that is. But it really doesn’t necessarily feel that way, does it?
It does take less time, but it’s the same kind of interruption to life. Probably I should go ahead and make everything automatic – so they come out of the checking account on their scheduled days. Not sure why I haven’t done that. And there’s also the other smaller payments.
And today’s ordering on target.com of presents for my soon-to-arrive great grandson, August, from the register Annie and Patrick set up. He will have a car seat from me, plus other goodies.
I’m not even sure why I am fussing about or caring about this. I think I will turn myself toward gratitude for all of my wonderful life, and let this nagging negativity drift away. Gratitude will certainly feel better!
