Vitamins / Supplements / Gummies!

July 19, 2022 By pgarry

I have always used basically just my intuition when adding or subtracting supplements from my list of what I take every day.  When a supplement no longer feels right to me, or when I run into a new idea for how to be healthy and have fun, I pay attention, check out my resources (Prescription for Nutritional Healing is my favorite, along with Louise Hay’s Heal Your Body), wait a few days for all those ideas to sort themselves out, and then shift to where I am ready to go.

So today I was at Clifton Natural Foods, picking up my PB8 probiotic – to keep all those good bacteria buzzing along happily – and discovered that my favorite vitamins (Natures Plus Source of Life Adult Gold) now come in Gummy form!  Amazing!  Of course, since it is something new I haven’t run in to before, I had to buy them, come home and take two.  They come in three flavors, though I think only two colors – sort of brown and then reddish-purple – orange, grape and cherry.  A bit more sugar than I might choose.  But fun and easy to chew.  (Since I can’t swallow big pills, that made my happy!)  Good so far – I’ll report back over time.  :  >

I Am Starting Over with Blogging Again!

July 19, 2022 By pgarry

Hey, Friends –

It’s amazing to me that things I really love to do – blogging / writing / thinking and feeling my way through my life – can just slip away in the busy-ness of it all!   I always get so much support from all of you when I am writing – your questions, your understanding, your eagerness to read more – and that all makes it so worthwhile and so FUN!  Which is always my main goal –  fun to me means I am operating at top efficiency, everything is humming along perfectly, life is as it should be.

So here we go again – writing at least one piece every day, about everything that is interesting to a Double Gemini like myself – which means really everything!   Let me know if there’s a question you have been thinking about, or something you are trying to figure it out.  We can work on it together!

Much Love – Patricia

New Zealand Photos of Last Night’s Super Blood Moon Eclipse!

August 24, 2021 By pgarry

My friend Teresa, lives in New Zealand – and I knew she would have a perfect look at last night’s events in the sky – which happened in her part of the world first.  And of course with no pollution and no cloud cover.  So I emailed her to ask for pix – turns out she was on her way up and out – going higher up and even farther out from any towns and light sources.  It was cold, so she took these pix while in her sleeping bag!  Enjoy!!

Dream #4 Organizing Women

August 24, 2021 By pgarry

I have brought a large group of powerful women together to begin changing our world, starting with our city.  We are in a great facility, with a lot of nice amenities, and are starting to work.  Each is presenting from her own expertise, and we are building a real knowledge base of what is happening and what must be done.  Suddenly I notice that a lot of our men friends are wandering in, casually, to join the talk.  I don’t know how they even heard about the event.  We were careful to keep it among ourselves.

(Perhaps a follow-up to a blog I wrote a couple of months ago – saying that women should stand up and say STOP! to men’s wars.)

Dream #3 Condo Update

August 24, 2021 By pgarry

A dream where I am working to get Pace / Renovate America programs working to update / climate change proof our condo.  During that process, I’m at a big outdoor neighborhood festival, spread across hillsides, where I meet  couple who think they know what’s going on, but are not making things better.  We’re inside their home office, and her black cat is riding upside down on her right shoulder.  I have ended up with their bag of (junk) at teh neighborhood exchange. And / but have gotten a lot of good info on how to get the State of Ohio to make the changes I need.

Sunday, August 1, 2021, 7:22 a m.  In the old Celtic calendar, this is Teltane, Lughnassa, the first day of Autumn.

Dream #2 Erecting and Building a Beautiful House

August 24, 2021 By pgarry

Right outside my window, people have been building a wonderful project for quite a while.  It’s going to be part of a larger community development, and will be moved when it is completed.  It looks like a Swiss chalet, colorful and with beautiful wood.  Now it is finished and needs to be moved to its permanent spot.  It has snowed, the team of 20-somethings is going ahead cheerfully and with gusto.  About a hundred folks just pick it up and walk it toward its new home.  I walk over later, crunching through the melting snow.  A beautiful day!

June 18, Friday, 6ish a m, Brian’s campaign, cicadas going, covid going, too (which hasn’t happened)

Four Connected Dreams – #1 Translating

August 24, 2021 By pgarry

I am working on a project – and realize I have had several projects like this lately – I have books of instructions in 2 different languages and have to make them mesh.  So I go chapter by chapter, re-writing – so the folks using one language can understand the thinking and values of the other.  Doing Chapter 1 of the first culture, then Chapter 1 of the second culture.  Each of the cultures is both good and quirky, by their own estimations.  I know both well.  There are stinkers – bad folks – in each.  Both think they are the best, but want to make the world work, so they want to figure this out.

Short and Sweet Astrological Sign Definitions

June 8, 2021 By pgarry

ARIES is super quick and in a hurry – has an idea which need to be implemented now!  Maybe our fiery one should take a breath first.  :  >

TAURUS wants to think it over first – smart move, but not for weeks on end.  Make a choice and get going, Sweet Bull.

GEMINI wants to make all the choices at once – and then two seconds later is sure something else will be more fun.  Focusing on just a couple of things will work better.

CANCER wants to peer out of that beautiful shell and see what’s going on.  All that sensitivity and artistry will go to waste.  Please share it with the world.

LEO loves everything, and wants to take care of all that is.  And all needs to be done the big cat’s way. A step back would be good.

VIRGO is so smart, and great with all the details.  Worrying and being critical might get in the way of all that creativity.

LIBRA wants everyone to be happy and comfortable.  Please don’t give up your own joy to try to make the world better.  That won’t work.

SCORPIO wants to get at the core issues.  Use those skills to heal your part of the world for maximum impact.

SAGITTARIUS is the traveler and philosopher, always moving ahead.  Noticing the state of the world where you are would be helpful.

CAPRICORN wants to climb that mountain step by step.  That’s a good way –  but flying might work as well.

AQUARIUS moves always toward the Shining City on the HIll, which is beautiful and worth aiming for.  Maybe some energy could be used to fix your present place.

PISCES wants all the beauty, and can be melancholy when there are so many directions to go.  Maybe paint the vista you are now looking at first.

Time to Stop Men Fighting and Killing for Power

May 18, 2021 By pgarry

I started writing this a couple of weeks ago:  Men all over the planet are fighting and killing each other for power. In Yemen, for instance – they are pounding each other for power, with especially the Saudis using American weapons for this killing.  We make a lot of money selling weapons to the Saudis and many others.  Why do we do that?  Does it make any sense at all?  Let them make their own weapons – or let them use rocks and sticks.  Why do we think it is okay to support this behavior?

More to the point – why do we women allow this to go on?  Are we crazy?  Are we so beaten down by our dreary cultures that we don’t have the energy to stand up?

This is so wasteful.  Look at Lebanon – piles of rubble from an explosion caused by leaders not paying attention to a bad situation at their waterfront.  Look at Syria – piles of rubble caused because folks stood up against a dictator – who would rather see his country destroyed than find a way to share power.  As though he is the only person in that country who can be the leader.  Especially in Syria –  destroying big apartment buildings that cost millions of dollars.  Now all the rubble is likely to end up in the landfill, and if re-building ever happens, and if there are ever people who want to live there, the country will have to spend its resources on new materials to do that.

And of course chaos there has spread, so now the Kurds and the Turks and Isis are all working against each other – to gain what, exactly?

All this while we are in the middle of our energy and global warming crises!  What is wrong with us women that we tolerate that behavior?  I know we are smarter than this, more conservative, in the sense that we understand the monetary wastefulness of all this destruction, let alone what it does to our children, to our families, to our lives.  And for what?   Block after block after block of destruction.  People depressed, scared, injured, unable to function.

Our money, our energy, our lives would be so much better spent on books, on playgrounds, on health care, on creating beautiful lives for each other.

Why don’t we just stand up and say STOP?  Why don’t we just quit tolerating this insane behavior.  This wasting of human lives and bodies, wasting of our ability to move forward on saving the planet from its own destruction, and on turning around the wasting and stunting of our children’s lives.

Think about it, women and sane men.  What if we all just stood up and said STOP? And held firm, just quit tolerating this insane behavior.  The world would indeed change.

Look now at Israel and Palestine.  Were women just born to stand around and be devastated, holding the dead bodies of our children?  Is that what we came here for?  Or did we come here to stand and not move an inch further, not allowing one more inch of territory to become chaotic?  Are we ready to stand?

Reiki Is Always a Miracle!

May 4, 2021 By pgarry

I am always amazed that more folks do not know about Reiki hands-on healing.  It is a simple and profound technique, re-discovered in Japan in the early 20th century.  My belief is that Reiki is what everyone could do for themselves and each other through 200,000 years of human history, until the patriarchy arrived only 8,000 years ago.

Now that more of us understand our own power, and have been Attuned to Reiki, it is becoming much better known.  Just google it – you will be amazed at all the info out there.  And also on my website.  Plus there are tons of excellent books – just pick one.

The least people get from being treated with Reiki is feeling calmer and very relaxed, followed by a good night’s sleep.  It’s easy to get a headache to let go – usually within a very few minutes.  Most of our chronic diseases will improve fairly quickly, for at least a few days.  Longer term work is required to get them to moderate for longer periods of time.  And sometimes, we get the miracle.  Where a dis-ease just vanishes after a Reiki session.

We are all body, mind, and spirit.  When we fix one part, every part is fixed.  Whatever you are struggling with, what ever lesson is presenting itself to learn, it can be ameliorated.  Just contact your nearest Reiki healer for a session.

p.s.  I love to do Reiki for folks, includind distant Reiki for folk out of town, and I love to teach folks how to do Reiki for themselves and others.
